Festival Shopping: Flipkart's annual sale 'The Big Billion Days' from October 16

Flipkart’s own brands, including MarQ, will also see products sold with new deals everyday—MarQ for instance has laptops,

 TVs and appliances in its portfolio of devices. Flipkart will also be offering benefits for those who collect SuperCoins, including the ability to pay for entire purchases with SuperCoins, bonus coins and deals with Rewards Pass.

The Big Billion Days are also set to expand the festive cheer to further generate employment opportunities in the country. This year, the sale-event will create over 70,000 direct and lakhs of indirect seasonal jobs as sellers, artisans, and brands gear up to fulfil consumer demand.

While Amazon is yet to announce dates for its biggest sale event, which usually coincides with Flipkart’s sale, the latter on Saturday had announced the timeline for its six-day Big Billion Days from October 16 till October 21, 2020. Flipkart reiterated that the event would generate more than 70,000 direct and lakhs of indirect seasonal jobs as sellers and artisans. While it “enabled thousands of new sellers to join its platform in the last six months,” the company also expanded its Kirana onboarding programme to include over 50,000 kiranas who will deliver last-mile to consumers in over 850 cities, according to a company statement.

The annual festive sale of Flipkart, The Big Billion Days, will commence from October 16 and continue till October 21.  What did Snapdeal say?
 Snapdeal has added more than 75,000 new sellers during the festive season this year.  It has also connected 5000 manufacturers and sellers on its platform this year.  "This year we will focus on getting customers a reasonable price," the company said.
